Our purpose is to encourage and support the skill of longdraw spinning and associated activities. No previous experience necessary - but enthusiasm is essential!

Longdraw handspinning makes armslengths of thread at a time rather than a few inches. It is not new, longdraw spinning was practised in medieval times -our logo is based on a 14th Century image in the British Library. It is a satisfying skill which produces yarn quickly which means you will complete projects long before you run out of steam and you will probably feel more creative too.
