Just to let you know that I am finally acclimatised although my feet have hardly touched the ground. I shall be on my third trip, in less than three weeks, across the island on Thursday for babysitting duties and with a round trip of 5 hours driving - for me - this is no mean feat.

As you can see I am now hooked up on line and can now spend a bit of time working on the website so keep the info coming. I need to try and sort out the pictures (again) so that they don't say they are not available when they are.

I have been to one meeting of the local Woolgroup - always a pleasure - and the talking table was quite impressive as always. I did think ours was pretty good last time too. A brilliant selection. Sorry I didn't get around to recording it officially. Have also visited the gallery run by the Chairman of another Woolgroup which I drive past on my journey across the island. She had some fabulous felt pictures along traditional NZ lines. Also a lot of scarves made using water soluble film. I really must get the hand of this method because the results are quite beautiful and delicate.

Have a good meeting on Saturday.
Norma
